About

WHY

RiverRun

Like the historic 1861 estate we now call home, our family honors the people and events that have influenced us, even as we work to enrich others’ lives now and for the future.

The patriarch of our family, Scott Hall, is gone but his legacy lives on. His passion, kindness, and enthusiasm continue to inspire us each day. One way we commemorate his influence in our lives is reflected in our name, The Manor at River Run. Loggins & Messina’s song Run River Run captured his heart and distilled his simple philosophy of life.

As a river flows onward, substantially the same yet changed by the bits & pieces of life as it goes, we seek to move forward in life with eagerness, grace, and awe. We are honored to be part of each couple’s celebration, and we cherish the thought that our lives are intertwined – even if briefly – during this milestone in their journey.

Our family management team is committed to providing our clients with the highest level of personalized, on-site service.

Indoors

Currently under renovation, the Manor House will be available to host micro weddings, cocktail hours, and small parties, in addition to spacious bride and groom “get ready” suites.

Architectural elements such as an exquisite ballroom, gorgeous winding staircase, 12-foot ceilings, and original decorative details will add easy elegance to your event.

Outdoors

A glamorous draped tent, nestled among mature trees and emerald hills, will accommodate up to 200 guests for receptions and large gatherings.

And the beautifully landscaped East Lawn will serve as a ceremony location amidst paved terraces and paths, and cheerful gardens.

Magic Places

Imagine your wedding day, celebrating your love story with family and friends in a picture-perfect setting, surrounded by the beauty of nature, fragrant breezes, and the gentle sophistication of a centuries-old estate.

The Manor at River Run is a country estate listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The 8,000+ sq. ft. home, built in 1861, is in pristine condition and is the crown jewel of 33 acres of woodlands, pastures, meadows, gardens, ponds, and streams.
